[OKDXA] VU4 Dxpedition-again??

As I recall, when I worked Bharathi there back in the 80's, she operated SSB
only and usually operated on the W7PHO Net. She had trouble with pileups.
Now, having said that, no one else has been able to get permission to
operate since then. If she can get permission to operate, all amateurs need
to applaud her and support her operation in everyway. We need to encourage
her to bring good equipment and maybe a couple of good CW operators. There
is certainly the risk that a person will make a donation and not get a
contact. But, without her operation, there seems to be little hope of
hearing VU4. There also may be the opportunity here for this operation to
lead to larger operations in the future if handled positively by the amateur
community.
I am currently looking for some additional info on the operation and will
let you know what I find out if anything.
Jim
