Tnx to Bob SIT and Kim for all their help and advise on my disc drive 
replacement project. After spending most of the afternoon trying to get the restore 
disc to run I found out from the 5th guy I talked with at Compaq that my laptop 
will not support anything over 10g after being told and sold from Tiger 
Direct that the 20g they had would work just fine. Since 20g is the smallest they 
carry I need some recomendations for another supplier that will be kind to my 
twr projects starved wallet.
I cked with Svc Equip and they wanted $55 for a 6.4GB. That seemed a bit 
high. I would appreciate any suggestions for alternate sources.  Mny Tnx
