Wish I could be there but my wife just had surgery and it is only a little
over 700 mile drive now.  Sounds like the DXers in Oklahoma have gone the
way of the bands as of late.  I think summertime is always a lull for DXers
and as the bands start to dwindle with the lowering sunspot activity there
will be less enthusiasm for activities.  I think you will have a solid core
in the OKDXA, though.  I worked NX5L from Nowata, N9JQM from OKC, and K0CIE
from Stillwater this weekend in the IARU contest.  Sometimes the diamond of
DX appears at solar minimum.  I know that YV0, Aves Island (Bird Island)
will be on near the end of this month or the first of next month.  That one
should be easy to work and will have a state-side QSL manager.  I am sure
you will have a good turnout at the hamfest, though, you always do.
