I agree: this couldn't be much easier. Yeah, getting all the necessary 
authentication is inconvenient, but there is simply no other way I can see 
to perform this step. This is a simply necessary evil if we want the awards 
issued through LotW to mean anything. Otherwise, the ever-present 
unscrupulous among us would cheat and we'd see lots of "Worked 'em all!" 
entries in DXCC all at once.
