Hey guys,
Just wanted to ask everyone to be thinking about participation in the
upcoming Oklahoma
QSO Party. It'll be on the weekend of March 13-14. There have been some
changes made
on hours of operation and classes of entries. If you're planning on being a
"rover" please
start plotting your course and, at your earliest convenience, send your
itinerary to me so
I can get it posted on the website. If you aren't going "roving" then please
at least consider
putting your county on the air from your home QTH. We had very nice
participation last
year with 74 of the 77 counties put on the air during the QSO Party. It'd be
great if we could
activate all 77 this year. Please visit the website and look the 2004 OKQP
over.
Go to http://www.okdxa.org/ and click on OK QSO Party.
On a side note concerning the website, I've started adding bio's on the OKDXA
members
as they arrive. So far all I've received and made available on the web are
W5VW, K5YAA
and N5CE. You can go to http://www.okdxa.org/ and click on "About OKDXA" and
then
click on "Member Roster". If you see a callsign underlined, that means you
can click on it
and it will pull up that member's bio as a Microsoft Word document. I hope
to be receiving
quite a few more bio's soon. If you would like to send me a bio but haven't
gotten the form
from me yet, please just let me know and I'll be glad to send you one.
73 and see you in the pileups!
