12/16 VU4RBI on 14.191 peaked here about 16:45 short path and held an S2 - S3 on the meter until 17:20 - readable after that time but no meter movement.  Heard one 5 work her during the peak NN5ZZ.  She was listening on 14.188 to a stack of stations 5 to 6 miles deep and would grab a couple of letters and ask for a repeat at which time  hundreds called again whether they had those letters in their call or not.  Painful to listen to but may be workable one of these mornings.
