[OKDXA] SO2R on the same band

John,

I have not seen anything on that other than using the 2 receiver type
radios.  We used to do something like that using a FT-1000D I think.  We had
one receiver in each ear.  But if you are going to use two radios, you will
have to disconnect the antenna from the radios as well as mute them to
prevent burning out the front end.  You can do that with relays switched by
the radios.  Rather than trying to mute the radios you might just switch the
audio with the same relays.  I am not a SO2R operator but I think the main
advantage comes from being able to listen on another band will transmitting
CQ's.  I don't think you will be able to listen on the same band that you
are transmitting on.  You might give us a little more info about what you
wanting to do.
