Guys:

The old saying "Work them first and worry later" does pay off, even after 2
1/2 years.  I knew that my 6O0X card would not count when I worked them, but
I sent off for the card anyway and filed it away.  Now some 2 1/2 years
later Bill Moore, NC1L, the DXCC Manager, comes out with a ruling that
contacts with Somaliland (northwestern Somalia) and Puntland (northeastern
Somalia) are valid as long as they have some type of permission to operate
there.  So I burn off an e-mail to Bill and after several messages back and
forth, here is the result:

The old adage pays off if you have patience and wait!  That gets me up to
303 worked and 296 confirmed on Mixed.  On CW that gets me to 254 worked and
236 confirmed.  I also picked up new band counts on 20 and 17 meters for the
two CW contacts.  All I can say is "Thanks Bill for the new one, it was
free!"
