It is my understanding that while only the board can authorize expenditures I 
would like to take this opportunity to voice my thoughts.
>From what I understand this will be a rather costly undertaking and a rather 
needed entity as well. As long as there is a substantial committment to CW 
operation (otherwise it won't count) I hope we can make a meaningful contribution 
to make this effort a reality.
Besides, for those who make the trip, it has to be the pinnacle of male 
machismo within the DX community.
