This is a warning for Oklahoma DX Association members to be cautious about
doing business with Radio Outfitter of Overland Park, KS. I ordered a
Crushcraft A103 from them via the internet last week. Their website showed
it to be in stock and at the lowest price I could find. I had found it
listed at other suppliers but they did not have it in stock. I wanted it by
this week. They immediately confirmed my order and charged my credit card.
After a week and two phone calls initiated by me, I have found that they are
not going to honor my order. They told me that the item is no longer
available. My interpretation is that they do not want to honor their
published price because the item is certainly still available from the
manufacturer, Crushcraft. Their website still shows it to be in stock.
It is not a big deal but it also is not a proper way to do business.
