Re: Trip to Fernando de Noronha - PY0F

After a false start last year, I am off Monday for PY0F!  On my way there, I
will stay Tuesday night in Sao Paulo and visit with Fred, PY2XB and Ron,
PY2FUS, then on to the islands to prepare for the CQ WW CW 160 meter test. I
just received notice today that I will have the call PR0F for use during the
contest.  I may have to use PY0F/W5SJ all other times.  We'll see.
Before and after the contest, I will concentrate on the warc bands, cw a
priority with a switch to SSB upon request.  Each day at 1900Z, I will check
21225.    After the weekend, I will rest and explore Fernando, a 4-½ mile
long island that is to Brazil what the Galapagos are to Ecuador.  Hope to
dive, bike, hike but mostly be on the bands!  Check out the QTH at:

On the 30th I will go to Rio de Janeiro where I will visit with Rolf, PY1RO
and his family.  Back to Arkansas the 2nd of February.
