I have an Idiom Press Rotor-EZ that I installed in mt T2X control box (love
it, BTW). I bought the option that supports serial port rotator control,
and hooked it up. No joy: it appears that the RS-232 chip is dead. I'd
had the unit for a long time before I ever checked this out, so I don't
expect (or want) warranty support.

So, I called Idiom Press to order a replacement chip. The guy who answers
the phone identifies himself as Bob Locher. So, I had to ask "Are you
W9KNI, *the* Bob Locher, who wrote the book?" He was! I still have that
book, and a new edition should be out for Dayton.

Cool.

Kim
