I don't do things like this very often, but had to tell someone.

I have a Heil headset that I use on my IC-746 occasionally. It is coming 4
years old and clearly out of warranty. Couple of weeks ago, I developed a
hum in with my signal, and traced it back to the headset. I couldn't find
the offending short-at least that's what I think it was- so I sent it back
to Heil.

Today (only 5 days later) I received a brand new headset from Heil no
charge! Didn't even charge me return shipping!

Again, I'm not using this reflector as an ad for Heil, but thought it was
worth sharing.

Hope conditions are better tonight for the 80 meter OKDXA net. Last week was
terrible!
