Now that Jerry has mentioned it. Has anyone checked to see if a trapped
vertical may be available in South Africa cheaper than what we may have to
pay in shipping?

No problem, Bill. I'll not do anything drastic until more definite shipping
info is known. And no thanks needed - sometimes we all tend to forget how
lucky we U.S. hams are, with our huge selection of available new and used
gear and antennas at relatively reasonable prices. This stuff can be very
difficult to obtain in many overseas areas. Heck, if he had a ham store down
the street he also probably wouldn't have a rare prefix. :-)
