I'll be out of town until Sunday afternoon, at which time I'll break down
the antenna and measure the minimum overall length. Most of it is in short
sections, but I fear the top "stinger" section and/or the bottom first piece
might be longer than 40" (I'm allowing 2" for packing). I will find out
Sunday, and post the results..

> Hi Dave and all. I have a friend in Florida that ships lots of stuff to
foreign locations and he sez check with the U.S. Post Office. If the package
can be a maximum length of 42 inches that at 25 pounds the ground shipping
would be $52.oo and the Air would be $104.00. But the maximum length for the
Post Office is absolutely 42 inches long.
