[OKDXA] 14AVQ Vertical for ST0F

Although it's about 17' long assembled, the antenna will break down into a
fairly small package, Bill. This weekend I'll mark it for easy reassembly
and dismantle it for shipping. If you want me to pack it for shipping let me
know, otherwise someone can pick it up from my place out here SE of Mustang
and do the packing. I will include the manual, a bit ragged but readable. I
also believe I have a full set of guy wires/radials preassembled with small
egg insulators, but since rolled-up guys are bulky and wire is pretty cheap
and available everywhere, it would probably be best to just include the
eight egg insulators and let the end user provide new wire. Radial/guy
dimensions are in the manual. He should be able to get this thing up and
working in an afternoon, easy. A great help, of course, would be some kind
of antenna analyzer, especially if he wants to move the band resonance
points from their current positions. I had it ground mounted last time it
was up, using sixteen 27' buried radials, so the band resonances will likely
move a bit when he puts it up on elevated guys/radials on the roof. Properly
installed, it has a pretty low angle of radiation, and I've worked a lot of
DX with it over the years.

Bernie and William are most welcome, OKDXA is glad to help. Heck, maybe I
can talk to my faithful old vertical from the other end one of these days!
