One of the best rec ant that I ever came in contact with was a delta loop made from copper telegraph wire placed on used telephone poles around a five acre home site near Lawton, Oklahoma. I forgot how much capture area the owner calculated it to contain but it was more than any other ant that I had ever know. The owner could hear stuff that no one on beams at 100 feet plus could hear. The owner has been on the honor roll for many years. By the way, unless you have trained your horses to climb telephone poles, it should be horse proof.
