Jerry,

Just because you have a 1:1 SWR doesn't mean your antenna is at resonance.
I like to cut them to the proper length and live with the SWR or use some
sort of matching.

My 2 cents worth.

I lean on Coy for the hard answers.  So far it's looking like hoist and
trim/add to get it nailed.  Jury is still out.
