Neat stuff on the beacons, Coy. I've never seen that web site before. I have
been running a part time beacon on 6 meters at 50.075 for about 3 years. I
only run it for 2/3 hours when the band is open. It is a simple I.D. type
message with location (EM-16) and power (10 watts) to the M2 Loop at about
12 wpm using an ancient AEA keyer. It is really interesting to receive
emails from amateurs with sig reports. I also discovered there are some that
collect beacon cards. I've often wondered about what kinds of reports would
come in on a full-time HF beacon......
Anyone working the CQWW WPX contest this weekend?
