If you like to tinker or build one-of-a-kind boards for moderately simple

It's neat stuff. Real neat. Heavy enough to tolerate the usual test bench
torture but thin enough to work easily with a utility blade. Think
stripline. If you screw it up, unsolder, peel, and try it again. Cheap.
Also, if you think your last rig was too damned expensive, check out this
little gem for only $19.80 (as a partial kit, in 1949 dollars, and you
scrounge up the passive components). This would be around $150 (plus) today.
