OK Party Folks:

Have read a couple of score reports. An all CW effort by K8FU - nice score. I attest he was pounding away.

Coy, 500 +/- mobile Qs - outstanding. Your suggestion on shortening by leaving off Sunday is a good one. Conditions were greatly impacted by the geomagnetic storm but signals I worked from the mobile were good enough just seemed activity had tapered off a good deal.
I'd be interested in hearing your breakdown Saturday vs. Sunday. My Sunday mobile effort was 30% of my Saturday results and I was in an extra county on Sunday.

Saturday: Mayes, Delaware, Adair, Cherokee, Muskogee, Wagoner.

Sunday: Tulsa, Osage, Washington, Nowata, Craig, Ottawa, Mayes.

K5YAA LineScore:

533 Home Station Qs
301 Mobile Qs
49 Mults - States missed LA, MT, IA, HI, KS
Heard Nelson working KS on 40 so KS was on.
Missed QC, SK, YNWT, AB in Canada
617 SSB QSOs
217 CW QSOs
Mobile CW 59 QSOs and the rest SSB
OK Counties worked in the log 21
The most active out of state calls for me were:

NS3T Jamie in MD

K4BAI The Judge (John) in GA <- One of the top contesters in the world.

Runner ups were Rod W7OM, Ken VA3IX, Alan KO7X and Walt N7JXS

Other interesting stats I'm gleaning from the effort. May report on them later.

The mobile part of the whole deal was the most fun. It surprised me how well 100 watts and a $10 fiberglas stick performed. A special thanks to my XYL for driving me around. We saw some nice scenery in Eastern Oklahoma and I bet it's even more beautiful later in the spring.
