Hey guys and gals,

The Fort Smith doin's will be on April 6th, a Saturday. They, Jay Bromley,
have a world class show in ArkieCon. It is primarily for QRP types, but this
year they have landed Roy Lewallen, W7EL, as one of the speakers. He is well
known for his Antenna programs, as well as being a pioneer in the QRP field.
Roy will do two presentations at Ft. Smith; Antenna Basics, and Computer
Antenna Analysis. Guys, this is the man who wrote the software, so it should
be good.

The second speaker is Rev. George Dobbs, from England ( forgot his call).
Another world famous person, and only 2 1/2 hours East of OKC. George will
be speaking on Keeping the Soldering Iron Hot. This man builds everything,
from rigs to test equipment. Both will be excellent, I know. Yes, I know
some of you live by the old saying Life's too short for QRP. Well, you're
wrong! Life's too short for staying in the same bottle all your life. If you
think Ducie is tough with a Kw, just try it with 5 watts. I know, not
everyone will get in the log at that power, BUT, they have a blast in the
trying. After all, the thrill is in the chase, not the catching. Be open to
a new challenge, and by all means consider attending this event.
