Many thanks for the website support Bob. Looks like Dave & I will make
sure Tulsa county is represented
sufficiently. Thanks again to Dave for accepting the nomination. Coy plans
a superb effort in the rover category.
That's typical of Coy. Sometimes it appears he really likes this stuff. hi

I have VP6DI on 15 mtrs cw & ssb. It's a pain but possible. I've been tuned
into Jess' Inet packetcluster node
for the duration via 206.230.53.179 and find that the ops on Ducie are
hanging pretty tight on their announced
frequencies & modes. They're doing their best to keep 21.295, 21.020,
14.195, 28.495, & a smattering of the
WARC bands active. Always listening 5+ up from xmit freq. I thought at
first the novice op on 21.295 ssb was
moving the big knob after each qso but worked him after 4 left coast
stations snagged him on the same freq.
I can sure pick out the netizens with their accepting "last two", QSL on
the over, etc. Always thought the Q codes
were for CW. hi For those of you still needing a QSO, 21 CW is your
best bet. After a few years of this madness,
most of us can recognize our calls at 40+ wpm. Vince & the CW ops are
holding it down to 20 +/- so we senior
citizens can manage a QSO. I vote for K5VT as our banquet speaker if
there's any way...............

We owe these guys a tremendous amount of appreciation and gratitude. I sure
wish I was there rubbing elbows
with Kan, Vince, Tom and the others. Some of these days..........

QSL to Garth will contain $5. Considering the tightwads I know, he'll still
come out on the short end. Best of luck
to you guys.

Now on to P5 & VU/A

Hi ya guys,

I took Jerry's idea and created a page for the rovers. If you are going
to go rover during the OKLA. QSO PARTY please post your plans
to the reflector or E-mail me direct. I am staying put here in Woodward
County. Can't work it full time but will be on.

I still don't have VP6DI. The morons, lids, cops, and tuner-uppers have put
me
into the kill mode! What is wrong with those guys??????

Have a good day and good luck on the party.
