Thought all of you OKDXA members would want to know about this. Last year
the Lone Star DX Association put on a 5-star event. This year looks like it
will prove to be just as good. There were literally DXers from all over the
world in attendance as will be this year. Anyway, here is the announcement:

		Dxtravaganza II

The Lone Star DX Association will again sponsor the Dxtravaganza at Ham COM
2002, June 7th and 8th. It will be just as exciting as last year with full
Day and a Half of DX forums , presentations and events. We will have a DX
forum Friday afternoon with a panel of distinguished DXers to answer your
questions. Saturday will be filled with DX presentations. Skip W5GAI will
kick things off with how to get started in DX. Dick, K5IU will have a great
presentation on Antennas. John, ON4UN will be back to talk to us about low
band antennas. K4UEE, a world renowned DXer will have a presentation of one
of his DXPeditions. The DX luncheon will feature Tom Christian VP6TC from
Pitcairn Island to talk about his ancestors and Pitcairn Island, and
possibly Ducie Island. We will again have the Hospitality Suite at a nearby
hotel, so you can have an eyeball QSO with our guests. We hope this
Dxtravaganza will be even better than last year, and with your
participation, it will be!
