Jim:

The postal increase in June is real (I'm not sure about the 37 cent figure
for one ounce first class, but it will be going up...).

As for the rest, this is an Internet hoax that has been making the rounds
for at least five years. The obvious clue is that all federal legislation
starts with the letters "H.R." or "S" depending on whether it originates in
the House or Senate. "602P" is an odd number for anything federal. For more,

If you have a little spare time, http://www.snopes2.com/index.html is an
interesting web page for exploring Urban Folklore...

Why, it wasn't more than a few months ago that I heard about some Ham in
Earlsboro who bought a vintage Harley-Davidson for $100 from a farmer who
was tearing down his old barn, and when he traced the serial numbers to
figure out what year and model it was, the numbers came back as a custom
build from the mid-50's for a dealer in Memphis...

Who sold it to Elvis.

Last I heard, Harley offered $750,000 for the bike, but that may not be
exactly true... Do we know anyone in Earlsboro who's been buying new radio
gear lately?
