Greetings,
Just back from the first trip of the year to the big downtown Post Office
for IRC'S. Big changes. The new ones are about twice the size of the old
ones. There is nary a bit of English on the face (and very little on the
back). Another "back seat" for America....stay with the subject,
Dave....After a short but spirited discussion with the young fellow behind
the counter, we (me and his supervisor) convinced him that they still need
to be date stamped in the lower left corner. You can read this for yourself
if you can decipher Congolese. In keeping with my habit of saving the best
for last, they went up from $1.05 to $1.75! A seventy cent increase. (about
67%)
Ok, I'm through complaining. Makes the 'ol bureau look better all the time.
73 de (still uncomfortable with the metric system and can't wait for the
Euro Dollar) Dave

P.S. Jerry, the Ok County locator map on the web page looks great!
