The ol' Varmint sounded good over here, too, and as far as I'm concerned an
amplificator isn't properly tuned until the paint starts to blister above
the finals...

Didja' catch Jerry making his Q? As I recall, he chipped out his call sign
like he was checking into a net on the '06 machine and got a response on the
first try. Geez, Jerry, have a little consideration for the rest of us... At
least make it sound like you had to work for it!
