[OKDXA] Sigillum Civitatis

Barry - W5GN sent this on the NTCC mail list the other
day.  It immediately made me think of Nelson and one
of his pen's radio characters.

Received a QSL from S52DN in Skofja Loka, 
and his QSL has that latin phrase, above
a siloutte of a castle, and underneath,
the city name.

I looked at the latin phrase, and thought it
was a nice phrase he had found that could
apply to radio, since I guessed it meant
"Signal with Civility", i.e., "Talk Nicely",
and was about to compliment S52DN on such
a neat latin phrase, until I looked it up
and discovered that

Sigillum Civitatis is "Seal of the City"

and has nothing to do with talking nicely!
Back to latin class, I guess.
