Hello to the list,

I just "discovered" the OKDXA reflector tonight and
wanted to send a brief introduction.

I'm fairly new to Amateur Radio, first licensed in '95 as
tech+, then the upgrade to General in 2001. I don't get
to operate very much, as I work nights at Schwans and
then run a small web biz during the day. I sometimes
manage a few hours of sleep between the two. ; )

I have just a 'lil pistol setup here, on a postage-stamp size
lot with no room for anything. Antenna is a SteppIR 3-element
beam at 28' on a GME rooftop quad for 20 thru 6 meters, a
ground-mounted GAP vertical that I need to replace with a
80/40 dipole I've had in the closet for two months, and a small
Diamond X-50 144/440 vertical above the beam. Rig is the
Kenwood TS-2000 along with a seldom-used AL-811H amp,
tuned through an Ameritron ATR-30. Nothing exotic, but I can
usually work 'em if I can hear 'em. I work mainly SSB, and
sometimes PSK-31 when I get the Rigblaster hooked back up.

The AR Cluster node is open for all to freely use. All updates are
installed as Terry releases them. It's at version 4.3.10 now. The
user manual is available online on the web site, or you can
download it from the file library.

You can also make use of the forums on my site if you'd like. I can
also create a member-only forum just for the club, to have in addition
to the e-mail reflector. All ya gotta do is give me a yell if interested.
