Hi Clif,

You make a very good point. I was always the most satisfied when I found
something I needed the Olde Fashioned Waye. I also considered it quite an
accomplishment when I could issue a spot for something juicy that no one
else had yet found. Of course, with only about 170 or co confirmed, there's
plenty I need and, no, I didn't get P5, either. I still occasionally flip
through my copy of "The Complete DXer," just for fun...

On a different note, I received my Force 12 Sigma 80 vertical dipole for 80
m. It took about 4 weeks to get it from Force 12, so I assume they
fabricate them on a per-order basis. It comes in two boxes that are the
max allowable shippable length. Both are rather heavy for a 36 ft long
antenna, so I suspect its construction is rather beefy. No, I haven't
opened them yet, and now that the weather's cold, it might be a while. I
certainly don't want to lose any parts!

73,

Kim Elmore, N5OP
