[OKDXA] 2003 OKDXA Banquet

HEY there-HI there-HO there.
We're as happy as can be.

Plans are made and the date is set. October 12th will be Oklahoma DX
Association's Annual ARRL Sanctioned Banquet.


Sam Hutson/K5YY has accepted our invitation to come and speak at our 2003
Banquet.
He will be telling us about his numerous DXpeditions and have a slide show
to boot!

Side By Side will be back this year for a another performance.  For those
that didn't make it last year, Side by Side is a Sweet Adeline group that
knocked our socks off last year. I can't wait for a return performance. I
promise this year I will wear clean socks.

Dinner will be same as last years. Tri Tip Beef and all the trimmings.
The cost will be the same as last year-$10.00 per person.

Tickets are limited to 50, so be sure to get your as soon as possible.
And Yes Nelson, there will be door prizes. The only true reason he
comes.......

There will be a short business meeting at 6:30 and the Banquet will start at
7:00.

Bristow Public Library.
Address is       111 W. 7th Ave
                        Bristow Okla.


Hop off the Turner Turnpike at Bristow and head south into town .
At the 3rd stop light turn right. Library is on the right, across from
the Police Department. Also at the stop light there is a green sign that
says Library with an arrow to the right.

It was a lot of fun last year and I hope that we can fill the place.

Bye the way Oklahoma will be playing Texas again so please keep your eyes on
the road and watch for the Bristow exit .   Dave/W5ATV can tell you it's a
long way to a turn around.
