All, the 17 Echolink node is down so will not be available for the net on 12-12-23.

While I know it is difficult to imagine given that electrons have mean lifetime of  6.6×1028  years, which by the way is five-quintillion times the current age of the universe, it seems that the electrons in the router, being exposed to excessive hot air, a known factor in the accelerated degeneration of such things, in key circuit elements, have either decayed into photons and neutrinos ,which of course are poor conductors, or more likely have been annihilated by positrons, resulting in observed dysfunctionality.  The practical fix which was implemented by the node owner, is a hardware transfusion via Amazon that should be completed by Friday this week.  Non-Prime delivery is known to be difficult to predict.  However, I am told from reliable sources that assuming a reasonable delivery schedule and cooperation from Murphy, that it will maybe probably and most likely be working by sometime next week. But don’t quote me on it.
