Oak Forest Amatuer Radio Club
Oak Forest ARC is planning to meet at 9:00 AM at the American Red Cross Building 2700 Southwest Fwy. Houston, TX 77098 for amateur radio testing and field day on June 24, 2023. Houston ECHO society will also be there. We have some limited space for operating from the Red Cross station and plan to operate Saturday only, although this may be extended depending on the participation. This would be a good opportunity for some in-out operating and esp for new hams. You do not need to be licensed to operate for field day. There are some spaces for people to bring their own radios but these mush have bandpass filters. Outside deck is also available for portables. Notice will be posted on the ARRL website for VE testing. All classes of license will be available for testing. Walk-ins ok. Mark Landress WB5ANN. WB5ANN /at/ arrl.net. find out more at OFARC
