We wanted to make you aware of several upcoming events that may be of interest to you or others that you know.
First off is Radio in The Park on April 29th at Memorial Park. This event is a combination of a social event, portable operations, and unofficial parks on the air. All are welcome and the event is open to non-operators and the general public. This event will
include Amateur radio (HAM) as well as General Mobile radio (GMRS) from the Texas GMRS group. We will also have a fox hunt (hidden transmitter hunt) that day for anyone interested in practicing those skills. I have attached a flyer with all the details.
Next up is The Amateur Radio Relay Leagues Field Day event, this occurs the end of June every year and this year it is on June 24th and 25th. If you are not already participating, or planning to visit a Field Day site you can locate them using this website

Lastly SETAC will be hosting a HAM radio Tailgate sale on September 16th, at 9102 Meadowshire St, Houston, TX 77037 (near the intersection of Gulf Bank and I-45 North). This will be our first tailgate event in several years, and we look forward to seeing all
the interesting items people have for sale and trade. There will be a small fee of $5 for persons wanting to sell equipment, but it is free to come and shop!
