All please find attached the calendar for 2023 events. You may receive this more than once either directly or through the reflector.
Note the meetings for January, February and November are on the 3rd Saturday this year.
I just set the reservations for TranStar and for test sessions at ARRL. I don’t believe we will have any conflicts but things can always change.
Key Club Items
1. Its time for 2023 membership: A number of you are paid through 2023, for others it’s the annual dues. Still $20. See below for payment.
2. New Officers. Ralph is stepping down as President.
3. Net Controls: OK, we need others…. Not that hard. Lets step up.
4. Presenters: The meetings are carried by a few individuals. We will try to make the meetings more interactive. Anybody with a project or activity can talk about it. Maybe some more topics and videos.
5. Hands on activity: In the past we have had hands-on sessions; soldering, antenna projects, radio testing, etc. We will look to have some of this in 2023 that can be completed during the session.
6. VEs. Its easy to become a VE so that might be a goal for some.
7. Upgrades: Techs should make the goal of upgrading to at least General Class. Plenty of resources out there.
8. Dormant Members: A number of folks have not participated in club activity in some time so maybe 2023 is the time to get acquainted again.
9. Other offline meetings: We should use the zoom meeting more regularly. We have the account. Lets use it.
