Byron,
Congratulations on your new FT 710, I’ve heard very good things about that transceiver. Antennas as I’m sure you’re aware, are a broad area of interest. BTW, I’ve also heard good things about the ATAS antenna, especially about its ease of use, though I’ve never owned one myself. My first HF antenna was the Wolf River Coils TIA 1000 which I still own. There’s also the DX Commander Classic and the EFHW antennas that may fit the bill.
