Yes... The observatory is in Brazos bend state park.
There are tables at ground level next to the observatory and a metal cover shelter.
The astronomer on staff is a licensed ham.

You know if we do an activation in a State or Fed Park, that is considered POTA.  Like when we went to S.F. Austin State Park.  I think the park with an observatory is also a SP!
