You do not need a radio to listen to these frequencies.   Listen on websdr
or KiwiSDR. 

Filter the area to North America

Select a station within 500 to 1000 miles on the band of interest.   Enter
frequency and zoom in.  The net may show on the waterfall tab.  Adjust
controls as needed.
