[OFARC] Fwd: Oak Forest ARC FIELD DAY 2022

OFARC is hosting field Day:
DATE:    June 25/26
LOCATION:  Brazos Bend State Park
                Screened shelters #7 and #9 (see map & photo)
COST:    park entry is $7 per person per day.  I have already paid for 1 person at teach shelter.
Time:
                We need someone to take possession of shelter #9 Friday evening June 24
                The rest of us should show up by 10am Saturday June 25

Set Up Time:      10 a.m. Saturday June 25
Operations          24  hours
Take down time:  we need to vacate both shelters by 1200 Sunday June 26

NOTE:  One of our members has reserved a space for his RV near by!!

We will operate from Shelter #9.  It backs up to the trees.
Shelter #7 will be for resting & cooking

I have listed the needs I can think of below with a spot for people to fill in their name.

OPERATING NEEDS:

RADIOS
I was thinking keep 3 HF radios on the air at any one time.
Each on a different band
Everyone is welcome to bring their radio and antenna.
We can swap out rigs and operators as we want.

Some Scout troops may camp across the park but join us for the day.
I would like for a 2m station to be set up at the scout camp if possible.
2m simplex contacts count (but NO repeaters)!
