I will also be bringing a cooler full of bottled water and ice but everyone in attendance should also plan on wearing ample sunscreen, maybe wearing a hat, and bring a water bottle or cup they can fill from the water source at the campsite to refill from as well

 Ralph,
Agreed. Global warming is indeed affecting Texas! So we're bringing 3 battery operated fans each 10-12” in diameter to help w/the heat. Also, we’ll stock plenty of ice & water; plus our plan is to start hydrating 72 hours before the start of Field day.

Please be safe.

73,
Stephen (W2WF)

This heat is running 4 to 6 weeks ahead if the typical timing and does worry me.

It is 10 days out. But I am seeing 100 + temp forecasts. If it is going to be that hot, I will not be coming. I have already have had a heat stroke. Will make go/no go as week approaches.

I have head one local club has had in the past a heat related problem with a member.

I think Fall to Spring POTA, Winter Heat and WFD would be better for us.
