Subject: [RSI-ASSOCIATES] Livestream on June 15 @ 11 am CDT: Explore the Sun with McDonald Observatory
Hi all...
The following is from Taft Armandroff Ph. D. -- Director of the McDonald Observatory
==================================================================
Please consider joining McDonald Observatory via YouTube to explore the Sun on Wednesday, June 15 at 11:00 am CDT. Hosts Joe and Judy from the Frank N. Bash Visitors Center will show you live images of the Sun (weather permitting) with specially filtered telescopes and cameras. You’ll learn about sunspots, prominences, solar flares, and some of the patterns that we observe with the Sun. June 21st marks the beginning of summer in the northern hemisphere, so we’ll also dive into solstice details.
