[OFARC] UPS

At home I have a 35A power supply to a WMR switch box wich either charges a 12V battery, goes to a 12V Anderson PP strip, or if I need extra power, combine power supply and battery.

This is way too heavy for going into a DPS facility. Even if I could get it inside. DPS has gensets for the campus. So having a UPS which can give me 5 to 10 minutes of power would work. Good plan also for POTA, IOTA, et al when the generator has to go down for refuel.

Dom,

Good afternoon.  Just a note to share what I've done for a UPS
strategy.  I've currently got my 12VDC 30Amp power supply's AC plugged
into the "CyberPower 1000VA UPS" (
https://www.amazon.com/CyberPower-CP1000AVRLCD-Intelligent-Outlets-Mini-Tower/dp/B000QZ3UG0
).  The idea is that if power goes out, then 12VDC keeps flowing to my
HF rig.

Stephen (W2WF)
