Can send the SET WL message for my call and the club. Shows ARES we are interested.

Eat before? Somewhere on 34th. Toasted Y is too far south for me if we are along 34th/N Loop.

 Dom,

Good evening. As of now I've ony gotten your confirmation to do a
"POTA Prep session" this Saturday morning at "The American Legion Park"
in Oak Forest. All are welcome to join us.

 Details follow:

 - The goal: to setup two (or more?) independent remote stations in a
brief amount of time & make contacts (simulating POTA contacts)

 - The place: American Legion park at 3621 Golf Dr, Houston, in Oak
 Forest ( https://goo.gl/maps/1KQnUsa4mxxe7SSVA ). There is a parking
lot next to a picnic table - I'll bring my foldable table just in case.
No commercial mains so bring your own battery. No need for a pop up
tent. No WC so that'll be an incentive for us to operate quickly!

 - The date: this Saturday 10/30/2021

 - The time: 10am (we shouldn't be there for more than 2 hours tops)

 - The bands: 17m and 15m (we'll check 20m to see if the contest this
weekend is making it unusable for our purposes)

Again, the goal is to meet up, setup our two stations, and make
contacts. We can also go through the protocol to schedule a POTA
activation on the website, self-spot on the website, use iPhone to
update the pota website, and answer any questions on POTA.

I'm looking forward to getting out in nature w/the radio!

 73,

 Stephen (W2WF)
