This notice is for people who have tested or contacted me in the past.  

 

We are having a club meeting at the Transtar building and all are invited to
attend.   

This will be the last meeting of the year for the Oak Forest club.

There will be a one-off test session for those who want to upgrade.  See the
information below for that. 

We are offering technical support to those who may have not programmed their
radios.

If you want assistance, you should bring your radio, charger, computer,
software and cables.  We will show you what to do.     Any questions, give
me a call.

MEETING AND TEST DATE - SATURDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2021  9:00 AM

 

TEST LOCATION

HoustonTranStar Building

6922 Katy Road

Houston 77024

 

Parking in front or back of building. Arrive on time. 

Check in main entrance for access. 

Testing is inside with others.  Social distance.  Masks required.  

 

YOU WILL NEED

Face mask

15$ cash or check 

FRN Number Form 605 (register online at FCC) Printed Out

Printed copy of previous license or CSCE if upgrading

Picture ID

Valid email address and phone number

Calculator optional

We will have everything else

 

OTHER

Walk-ins allowed if you decide to test at the last minute.

You can take any license test if you pass the previous element.

You should be passing 80% on your practice tests.

Be sure you are studying current question pool with valid dates as follows:

Technician - Effective 7-1-18 good to 6-30-22

General - Effective 7-1-19 good to 6-30-23

Extra - Effective 7-1-20 good to 6-30-24
