[OFARC] Upcoming meeting - Saturday November 20

Colleagues,

Good morning.  Just a quick note that the upcoming meeting for the Oak 
Forest Amateur Radio Club will be shifted one week early to Saturday 
November 20th so as to avoid the week of Thanksgiving.  Also, note that 
there won't be a meeting for December on the count of the Christmas 
holiday.  Usually the club has a Christmas dinner scheduled for December 
so stay tuned for details on that.  We may or may not have a Christmas 
dinner this year but again, stay tuned.

As far as the upcoming November 20th meeting, there have been a few 
topics already suggested for it:

1.- Band pass filter building workshop.  During the last weekend's POTA 
prep activity at the park, we experienced the 2 stations interfering  
with each other.  So the suggestion was made to build *band pass 
filters* so we can use them to isolate our radio transmissions from each 
other.  Keep your eye peeled on this reflector for a status update on 
this *possible project*.

2.- A review of the Jackery power supply for remote operations.

3.- Any other suggestions for videos or presentations that you may have?
