[OFARC] OFARC Meeting OK for Transtar 5-24

Attention OFARCs.  We can now get back in Transtar for meetings.  Canyon
Creek restaurant is also open.  So we start back to the routine.  Eat at 8
Meet at 9.  I'll update the ARRL website for the test schedule.  

 

Of course, there are some rules.  

 

Entry through the main entrance, not the conference entrance. 

Mask is required for entry to the building.

Club rep at desk confirms person is a guest of the club.

Receptionist takes temperature and issues wrist band for authorized entry
into the building.

Guest is escorted to the conference center for the meeting.

Maximum of 29 people in the conference room set for distance seating.

Masks should be worn in room just in case but there is no mask order as of
today.   Nothing personal but I'm 

Exit is through the conference center door but reentry is through the main
door.   

 

>From the club operating perspective, probably should have a general waiver
for the Covid matter on a sign in sheet.  I'll leave that to our lawyers.  

 

Unfortunately the WiFi and projector are not working right now so I'll bring
one and I should have my wifi hotspot.  I'm checking on what the problem is.
Radio room is limited to 3 so probably defer this now.  

 

We will see how this goes and set the future schedule with Transtar after
this meeting. 

 

Proposed topic by Hal is magnetic loops and antennas for small spaces.
