82 Westheimer
85 Antione Washington
160-161-162 Memorial Routes

$1.25 OW

All the above except the 82 stop at the NW Transit Center.  Has free parking at TC

The 85 Stops a block from the station.  Others about 3 blocks.

METROLift can stop in front of Station.

There is limited parking at station.

4014 will be in display on the 16th.

I apologize for the brevity when I shared information about the upcoming arrival of the Big Boy Union Pacific steam locomotive at Houston on Monday, Aug 16, 2021.   I was driving in the car during the Tuesday net, and mentioned it on a whim.

A number of you wondered where the train will be on display while in Houston.

Here is the info.

The 4014 will arrive at the Washington Avenue Station at:

902 Washington Avenue, 4:00PM CDT Aug 16 2021

The Washington Avenue station is at Washington Ave, just west of downtown. The I-10 HOV flyover lanes (coming from I-10 West) meets Washington Ave right next to the station. 

The locomotive will be on display at the station all day, Tuesday Aug 17.  It will depart the station on Wednesday Aug 18 at 8:00Am CDT.
