Bad and good news

To to space and CV19 considerations, the Victorian Internet this year is literally a silent key.  To do this event right, we have to be up close and personal with the guests.  CV19 no-no's...

But we do have an invite for next year; GHF thinks it is a very interesting demo. Date should be the first weekend in December when the Sat. and Sun. are in the same month.

Now, good news.  Last Saturday ELISSA had a birthday party.  147 yo.  Mentioned to the one in charge I know of that there are some hams who could help out with communications when ELISSA is on the water.  One has to have sail training to be on E; my idea is shoreline support.  To help we may be using maritime, not ham radios.  But we are communicators.  HC ARES want hams to be comfortable with various radio system.  But will not really begin that discussion until after Dickens.
