[OFARC] Oak Forest Club Meeting - John Stratton N5AUS Presents

All, I was able to confirm a slot at the club zoom meeting tomorrow Saturday
11-21 at 9:00 with John Stratton, ARRL West Gulf Director.   I've asked John
to discuss what is going on at the League with respect to spectrum defense
and to comment on the proposed new ham license fees.     

 

John is an attorney, serving as West Gulf Division Vice Director since 2009,
when he was appointed to succeed David Woolweaver.  John holds a bachelor of
science in aerospace engineering from the UT and is a graduate of the UT Law
School.  

 

John will be available in the morning and I've allotted about 30 minutes
with questions.  The actual duration will depend on the amount of questions
and comments.  

 

Depending on how much time we have, Steve W2WF has an update on his backyard
vertical antenna project which he has been working on after returning from
Peru.
