[OFARC] Possible new ham customer

CQ:

There is a division of a served agency at TranStar that is looking at ham radio.  

I got an email from COH CERT about keeping up awareness and welfare for each other.  I sent a response back saying the ham radio community is doing that via, err, radio.  I also mentioned ham radio is a big part of CyFair CERT.

Got first response back.  COH is looking, ad will add ham radio to the possible welfare checkins for those who are licenced.

Got a second email from the second of command of CERT. This person is a ham, andsaid my idea needs to be looked at.

I mentioned there is a ham group which usually meets at TranStar, and can help with getting people their licenses. I said I am able sit down with them after the all clear is given.

I did not mention the club name, or personal names in this email because I thought it was prudent.  But I did keep the light on because of ham radio involvement

Need about 5 minutes at meeting Sat. to tell how this happenned.
